The port of VLC and Santa María del Mar Tour is a route with a lot of material to teach and much to learn… From the avant-garde design of les Veles e vents to the Church of Santa María del Mar, visitors will go through the most emblematic places of the port area as the modernist platforms, the port authority of Valencia or the clock tower and the Atarazanas – shipyards – (with included interior visit).
The last leg of the visit is the enigmatic Church of Santa María del Mar or port. History, legend and reality is reflected in the devotion of the neighborhood to the figure of the Christ of el Grao, which made act of apparition in the sea, on the edge of Valencia from the 15th century. We will also discover places within the Church that are unimaginable even for the own valencian citizens…
